The Learjet became one of the most recognizable symbols of private aviation during the 1970s. The Learjet 60 is a midsize, medium-range business jet built by Bombardier Aerospace in Wichita, Kansas. Production of the Model 60 ran through 2007; the upgraded 60XR followed, with manufacturing winding down by 2013. Bombardier announced the end of Learjet production in 2021 and delivered the final aircraft in March 2022.
